Just because we have the capability does not mean we should use it. To see true progression it and opinion it should be done fairly and in truth.

Does Big Mean Money?

Many times business’s try to advertise through billboards and tv ads, but is this effective?

Companies very often now a days realize people don’t pay minds to billboards assuming their old, or often times just annoying. Companies have turned to the web for advertisement. This can be done through videos, pop ups, emailing lists, and many other options. Why this might be more useful? As a country we run at full speed, on our computers. We don’t do as much shopping in stores, and send as much mail in letters. We love the speed of email, and shopping online. This shows that companies should not worry about the size of the billboard, but the technique of their advertisement. A couple of reasons people are attracted to online adds are, “A virtual shopping mall is open for business 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A shopper can buy products online anytime, anywhere based on their own preference. Mothers with young kids will find this most useful as it is very troublesome to bring young kids to the shopping mall. In addition, online shopping allows you to read up on other consumers’ product reviews. These comments will be able to help you determine whether the product is good or not.”

Youtube Brings Buck

Youtube, the highest most visited sight to watch videos, and hear music, and also the third most visited sight in the world. With about 3% of the videos advertising, there are a few people not having to go into work, but into there house to make a video thats only a few minutes long, with a $50 camera. Some of these videos that are simply made, are getting millions up millions of views ever week. So how are they making money you ask? Youtube now sends contracts to people who make videos that people enjoy. They place advertisements through youtube, and sometimes even advertisements from outside of youtube, which means big money. “Mr. Williams, who counts about 180,000 subscribers to his videos, said he was earning $17,000 to $20,000 a month via YouTube. Half of the profits come from YouTube’s advertisements, and the other half come from sponsorships and product placements within his videos, a model that he has borrowed from traditional media” stelter. Some different companies that support advertisement are Sony, CBS, and Warner Bros. So is youtube now a global marketing system? If you can get a video that blows up, you are in business.

Surprise Ruined by Own Company

With apples long awaited release of the Beatle albums, nothing could have gone worse than the company spoiling the surprise in their own store! Just one day before the surprise was to be let out, “ apple accidentally pre-loaded the long-awaited Fab Four catalog into the iTunes store early, confirming what must be the most overdue news in digital music history: The Beatles, their record label Apple Corps and its parent company EMI have finally decided to embrace the MP3 era by allowing the Fab Four’s remastered catalog to be sold as downloads on iTunes” Kreps. Not a big deal you say? Apple has been goofing up releasing information for quiet a while now. “ITunes hasn’t been immune to errors either: In 2008, the digital music service was single-handedly responsible for leaking the Raconteurs’ album “Consolers of the Lonely” by posting it for sale early. The mistake was especially visible because Jack White’s band tried to release the record as a surprise — announcing its existence just one week before its release date in an attempt to avoid the dreaded premature album leak. A similar situation arose last year when the Norway branch of iTunes allowed downloads of Kelly Clarkson’s “All I Ever Wanted” a week before its release date, resulting in the illegal distribution of the album stateside” kreps. As a company looking to make their greatest income off of their advertisement, they should watch who they are hiring so errors like this won’t be made by such a respected company.

Info about Infographics

Info graphics are  ”Information graphics or infographics are graphic visual representations of informationdata or knowledge. These graphics present complex information quickly and clearly, such as in signsmapsjournalismtechnical writing, and education. With an information graphic, computer scientistsmathematicians, and statisticians develop and communicate concepts using a single symbol to process information.” An info graph helps show an idea through simplicity, but as a creative visual. This can be helpful in an explanation, and because it is visual as opposed to writing.  To create one you must understand what applies to your needs, and what is most applicant. It is easy to find graphics to use on word, or online. http://www.wallstats.com/blog/how-to-make-an-infographic-video/ Here is an example of a graph
